Debut performance of Mairéad’s new composition at ‘Droichead’ concert, ‘The Well Church’, Bray.

I had the pleasure of singing some duets with Ross during the ‘A Classical Christmas’ Concert in Enniskerry Village, December 2015.

Background:Mairéad Déiseach is a mezzo-soprano who studied singing to Diploma level with Jody Beggan in the DIT Conservatory of music. She is a Feis Ceoil prize winner for both solo and duet singing. Is múinteoir bunscoile í i Scoil Chualann i mBré. She is Co-Director of the National Children’s Choir as well as being the Musical Director of The Frascati Singers and is a regular soloist and conductor of Curtlestown Church Choir. A classically  trained violinist, she also enjoys playing traditional music and likewise has long loved singing traditional Irish songs.
